This document has been created to describe and record the ongoing 'Chief of Staff' positions that are held by the leaders of the Dead President Guild. The positions and their descriptions are as follows:



CHIEF OF STAFF, WEBSITE MANAGEMENT

In addition to participating in JCS discussions and voting, this member is the representative for all DP website administrators. This member will act as a reference for any discussions that may involve these duties, and will also offer advice and qualified opinion when needed. Other duties involve the supervision and organizing of all website maintenance, with respect to both hosting and software.

CHIEF OF STAFF, SERVER ADMINISTRATION

In addition to participating in JCS discussions and voting, this member is responsible for the maintenance, administration, and management of any and all DP game servers. This member will act as a reference for any discussions that may involve these duties, and will also offer advice and qualified opinion when needed.

CHIEF OF STAFF, RECRUITING

In addition to participating in JCS discussions and voting, this member is responsible for the maintenance, administration, and management of any and all DP recruitment operations. This member will act as a reference for any discussions that may involve these duties, and will also offer advice and qualified opinion when needed.

CHIEF OF STAFF, EUROPEAN MEMBERSHIP

In addition to participating in JCS discussions and voting, the main responsibility of this position is representing all European DP members and their interests. With respects to gaming, this person shall keep the leadership updated with feedback, suggestions, and any other reports from the general membership, in the continuing effort to ensure that The Guild's resources are best applied.

CHIEF OF STAFF, NORTH AMERICAN MEMBERSHIP

In addition to participating in JCS discussions and voting, the main responsibility of this position is representing all North American DP members and their interests. With respects to gaming, this person shall keep the leadership updated with feedback, suggestions, and any other reports from the general membership, in the continuing effort to ensure that The Guild's resources are best applied.

OFFICIAL GUILD TREASURER

In addition to participating in JCS discussions and voting, this member is responsible for the management, accounting, and caretaking of all The Guild's funds. Included duties are accepting donations, paying expenses, and generating monthly reports on such activity for the rest of the leadership.

OFFICIAL MEMBER AT LARGE

In addition to participating in JCS discussions and voting, this rotating position involves presenting an outside and general membership point of view to the leadership, in the interests of filling the gap between the JCS and the main Guild.

SERGEANT AT ARMS

The S.A.A. has several responsibilities that add up to being the general and impartial enforcer within the JCS. Some jobs include implementing new decisions/policies, adjusting forum permissions for incoming and outgoing leadership, moderating disputes, and helping out with organization of official discussions and votes when necessary. This is a non-voting position and whomever is filling the role is asked to remain mostly neutral.

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

This representative is the spokesperson for the Dead Presidents Guild as a whole, as well as the JCS when addressing the guild body. This member is responsible for all communications with any person(s) who may require official responses, opinions, and/or information from our group. This is a non-voting position.

DP SECRET SERVICE

This group is made up of original leaders/overseers/custodians/trustees of DP. Responsibilities include witnessing the activities of the voting members of the JCS, serving as guides and advisors as necessary, and helping to ensure the original DP spirit and philosophies stay intact. Participation in official JCS discussions is optional.
